World Baseball Classic ‘09 Semis: Korea vs Venezuela

Going to the World Baseball Classic Semis at Dodger Stadium, Korea vs Venezuela. Looking forward to an exciting game. The weather isn’t too great this afternoon and there are chances of rain tonight, but I must go support my motherland. I really hope it is a sellout crowd with people from both countries. The U.S. should tune in to see what this means to the rest of the world and how exciting it is to support your country. It is disappointing how the U.S. don’t care about international competition, especially now that they are no longer considered the best. Losing at your own sport? Have some pride. Step up.
The NBA is Live on Twitter
NBA player Charlie Villanueva of the Milwaukee Bucks Twittered during his team’s game against the Boston Celtics on March 15th and got himself in trouble with the coach.
During halftime with the games tied at 41, Charlie Villanueva sent a tweet to fans,
“In da locker room, snuck to post my twitt. We’re playing the Celtics, tie ball game at da half. Coach wants more toughness. I gotta step up.”

Coach Scott Skiles had this to say,
“You know, we don’t want to blow it out of proportion but anything that gives the impression that we’re not serious and focused at all times is not the correct way we want to go about our business.”
Charlie Villanueva seems to love his Twitter and willing to fight for his right to Twitter..
Korea Beats Japan to Advance to Semis
I’m tired this morning from staying up late to watch Korea’s World Baseball Classic game against Japan.

Victory is sweet.
Go Korea!
Most likely will attend the semifinals game at Dodgers Stadium. Anyone else going?
Go Korea!
Girls and Basketball
Managed to get my hands on some great tickets for today’s Lakers vs Mavs game. The seats were great but I couldn’t catch all of the action with people jumping up and down every time the Lakers scored.

I wasn’t complaining.
